Damron Project Notes

An outmoded Beverly Hills house was updated and expanded to include a new master suite, entry foyer and garage. The client wanted to reinvent the house with a “spa-like” feel, blurring the edges of the indoor and outdoor spaces as well as incorporated a harmonious flow throughout the structure. For example, the new master suite enjoys handsome views of the backyard and pool while seamlessly blending with the existing architecture.

Outside, new textured concrete block walls refresh the front elevation, layering the façade with the natural materials to emphasize the new entry. The circle form acts to bring the outdoors in, both complementing and softening the rigid geometrics of the wall. As a unifying design motif, the circle appears throughout the home, as seen in the entry courtyard and master bath illustrations.
